News From Trophy of Texas - 2009
March 2nd, 2010 Announcement:
I have started to make a little more serious attempt at reducing inventory and display items. I have started to list some of the singles that I have on ebay, most of these are from sets that I split up for good customer years ago, some are from displays that I had in the shop...but all are pretty much "as new" figures but will not come with Trophy boxes. I am listing these as "Buy it Now" items for $20.00 including shipping in the continental USA. By the time I pay ebay and PayPal fee's and shipping I am getting about my cost out of these figures. Regular sets that are in stock are still at our regular retail prices. HOWEVER, if you have any special needs for singles from existing sets I will CONSIDER splitting up some of those provided the remaining figures are what I determine to be pretty "sellable." I can't do this on every set but will listen to your sad story about breakage, etc.!!!!! Please read on to the previous announcement below as it will give you a pretty accurate idea as to what is remaining on the shelves. Thanks!
I would like to take time to let everyone know that while our regular stock of Trophy sets is getting smaller, we still have a LOT of Trophy left to sell, we probably still have in excess of $20,000.00 retail-worth of new Trophy inventory. Not as much from some era's, more from other era's, just sort of depends on where your interest are.
No remaining stock from the Zulu era, the Crimean era, the Boxer Rebellion, the Napoleon in Egypt line OR the regular Napoleonic Wars section, and no remaining figures from the Dragon Crest/Egypt and the Sudan part of the catalog.
But there is at least a little from most of the other parts of the Trophy catalog. Lots of American Civil War (especially Confederates!), the American Wild West, and pretty good stock from the World War One section (but NO equipment sets!). Right now I would expect our stock-levels to remain high enough to continue to sell to the public and maintain this website until at least the end of 2010...after that, who knows, we may end up just selling collections for some of our past Trophy customers.
